INDIBA Radiofrequency - Revitalising Lives!

INDIBA Radiofrequency – Capacitive Resistive Monopolar Radiofrequency

Demanding daily situations, along with the demands of competition can damage a horses’ tissues and cells:

  • Muscle tonicity

  • Tendon or ligament injuries (tears, ruptures, etc)

  • Kissing spines

  • Sacroiliac dysfunction

  • Osteoarthritis

And now there is an answer for it all… INDIBA Radiofrequency Therapy.

How does INDIBA Radiofrequency work?

INDIBA Radiofrequency activates and promotes the body’s natural mechanisms of repair and regeneration through its unique electrical and thermal technology delivered at 448kHz, in a safe and non-invasive way. This energy is delivered to the horses’ body through electrodes that work within a closed circuit using 2 modes of application.

The first is the capacitive mode, which works on the superficial soft tissue layers. The second is the resistive mode, which has effects on the deeper, most resistive tissues such as bone, scars or fibrotic tissue.

Standard radiofrequency generates heat due to the resistance of the tissue to the current, which is known as the Joule effect. This increases blood and oxygen circulation along with the deliverance of other essential nutrients for cellular physiology. Lymphatic drainage is also increased, along with an improvement in the flexibility and elasticity of tissues and overall improvement in muscle functionality.

INDIBA’s unique combination of electrical and thermal effects takes this one step further. At the current of 448kHz, it can deliver a repairing effect without increasing the temperature of the soft tissue structures, which is known as a sub-thermal treatment. The current triggers a series of reactions involved in maintaining cellular balance and promotes key processes in cell repair and tissue regeneration depending on the type of tissue. Additional INDIBA effects include an increase in the replication of fibroblasts, keratinocytes and osteocytes, along with increasing the synthesis of collagen and elastin. An increased cellular metabolism and improvement in the speed and quality of healing, and an increase in the reabsorption of oedema and haematomas is also achieved. With INDIBA, treatments are able to be applied in both the acute and sub-acute phases of injury, creating more opportunity for several pathologies to be treated, with the quality of cells and tissues being improved, helping in a horses’ functional recovery.

By combining the electrical and thermal action in the treatment of an area, proper tissue regeneration is promoted by INDIBA Radiofrequency, along with an improvement in systemic functionality. This guarantees healthy, functional and revitalised tissue, all done in an effective, proven and safe way.

INDIBA Radiofrequency is also backed by over 30 years of peer-reviewed, scientific research, with a couple of those articles linked below.
